“Everything that has already been thought of, has already been done.” Ani Sophene

Your beliefs become your thoughts

Your thoughts become your words

Your words become your actions

Your actions become your habits

Your habits become your values

Your values become your destiny.

-Mahatma Gandhi-

This concept is a jewel for all forms of healing. Everything that we think creates our reality, literally.  All of our thoughts are programs that have been imprinted upon us from conception due to the environment in which we live and what we were exposed to as young children. These pre-programs become our thoughts and then our realities as we grow up. Bruce Lipton states that we have the power to change and shift our programs to become our best selves by our thoughts alone and by changing the environment. We are not victims of ancestry and predetermined genes but are co-creators of our reality, and can shift into a new healthy awareness and reality that is “for life” instead of “against it.” Bruce Lipton’s research on cells and how they function in different environments is game changing, since it proves that the environment and the thoughts of humans can signal genes to behave in certain ways based on epigenetics that affect the organisms health and behavior within the environment. The environment and our thoughts create the behavior of the gene and how it functions within our cells.

When we shift our thoughts, then our cells change their signals and we become antennae for higher vibrational frequencies which shift our perceptions and reprogram us for health. Bruce Lipton states in the Biology of Belief that we all have the choice to see and create our reality. “ You can filter your life with rose colored beliefs that will help your body grow or you can use a dark filter that turns everything black and makes your body/mind more susceptible to disease. You have the choice! Learning to harness your mind to promote growth is the secret to life” (pg 137-138). Personally, I experienced this first hand by my own diagnosis of breast cancer two years after my divorce and helping my ex husband get into rehab for alcoholism. My thoughts of hate, anger, fear, betrayal, constant annoyance, and stress literally gave me a disease. All of these thoughts are against life, not for life and my body responded accordingly creating cancer in my right breast which symbolically represents the male side and of nurturing, loving, and mothering. I got stuck in a cycle of anger and loathing, and my wake up call to life was cancer. Our thoughts are extremely powerful and will shift and manifest all kinds of realities. Thought combined with emotion can literally move a mountain. Thoughts are multidimensional. No thought is ever ignored, but imprinted in the cosmic primordial soup in the zero point field  quantum realm. If this is the case, then how do we change our thoughts and our reality? Awareness changes the course of our thoughts.

Our awareness of consciousness changes our reality. However for the majority of us, it takes a dark night of the soul moment to wake up and become more aware of this truth. Some people have learned and mastered the game of life and can manifest their thoughts with a snap of the finger, however most of us cannot and we have been programmed to feel lack, fear, and doubt. How do we change? We have to re-train our body and mind and reprogram the negative thoughts by confronting them and working through them to positive wholesome thoughts. This takes work, dedication, and discipline. I used to constantly complain and say I was tired all the time, especially when I was teaching during the school year. Because I repeated this low vibrational mantra on a daily basis stating that I was tired, it actually became my reality. I became tired all the time even though I was guzzling caffeine and not getting a good rejuvenating sleep. Now guzzling caffeine long term is not healthy and will drain the adrenals, so that was part of the problem, however I decided I would change my thoughts. For example, I stopped saying I was tired. Instead, I said I was sleepy if I was really feeling tired. Then I switched from “I’m sleepy” to “I’m awake.” In a week, I stopped feeling tired and drained because I forced myself to change my narrative in my mind.

Here are some simple steps you can take to change:

  1. Reprogram your negative thoughts by saying this mantra every time you think something negative. My spiritual elder, Jyoti, taught me this method. When you have a negative thought say aloud, “Take that thought, wrap it in its own individual light, send it back to the sun for purification, never to reside in me or anyone else again.” Repeat over and over again, until one day you realize you don’t need to say this purification release mantra of negative thoughts anymore.
  2. Write down what you want to change. Read what you want to change daily.
  3. Imagine and feel what you want to manifest. Feel the emotion like it has already happened.
  4. Before you go to bed, imagine and repeat what you want to change. Your last thought has to be what you want.
  5. Meditate to release old stuck emotions and thoughts and energize your body into a new body of health and vitality.
